Proof Walking Liberty Half Dollars

The Philadelphia Mint produced proof versions of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar for just seven years of the series from 1936 to 1942 inclusive. These coins were offered individually or as part of a full set of all denominations. The Proof Walking Liberty Half Dollars have low mintages, particularly for the 1936, which only had 3,901 coins produced.
